Inspiraton: Fire Pits

There are two things I am drawn to: fire and water. In this post, I featured some beautiful, inspirational pools. Today I'd like to share several inspirational fire pits. Besides the fire pits themselves, I like the furniture surrounding them and the locales and/or homes. Some are traditional in style, some contemporary, some rustic. But each is a place I'd like to spend an evening with good friends and a glass of wine. Do you have a favorite?

  1. I like #1, 4, and 8! It's too hard to choose just one. We just came in from our own fire pit--nothing like stargazing, Dark and Stormys, and good conversation with friends!

  2. Number nine .. without a doubt.

  3. Hi! New to your blog. I love firepits, but I fear the mosquitos, so I haven't gotten one yet. Love your blog!

    1. Welcome, Kailani! I'm glad to have you as a new visitor to My Little Bungalow. I have a great product for keeping mosquitoes at bay. I'll be posting about it soon. I think the smoke from a wood fire pit would also naturally keep mosquitoes away.

  4. I'm a country girl, but I'd roast marshmallows on site # 10 with much happiness and gratitude. What a WOW! view.

If you can swing it, put a fire pit in your landscaping plans. I'm sure you won't regret it.

And be sure to let us know about your mosquito product - I'm all ears!

    1. Oh, I keep meaning to photograph the great mosquito repellent. We used it just the other night as we ate dinner on the porch. It worked beautifully. And the mosquitoes have been plentiful lately with the rain and humidity we've been having. I'll post very soon, I promise.
